Project Manager - Electrical

Georgia-Pacific Cellulose LLC is currently recruiting for a Project Manager - Electrical to contribute as a key team member at its Foley Cellulose facility in Perry, FL. The Foley Mill, one of the largest specialty cellulose production facilities in the world, has been in operation since the 1950's and produces specialty cellulose grades utilized in a broad range of products - from filter papers to pharmaceuticals. The Foley Project Manager - Electrical will develop, execute and support capital and expense projects that drive the long term success of the site. Execute the Project Work Process to drive value creation. Utilize Market Based Management (MBM ) principles to deliver competitively advantaged results.  Develop and sustain healthy intra departmental relationships with Operation, EH&S, Reliability and Maintenance resources to ensure close linkage and excellence in execution. Regularly interact with all levels of the organization.  A Day In The Life Typically Includes: Demonstrating safety as a core value through both design and implementation of projects at the facility; drive safety in design culture; ensure contractor compliance with mill safety policies and ensure safety aspects of all jobs are well communicated between operations, contractors, and engineering Incorporating regulatory and corporate policy compliance reviews during project scope development to avoid unplanned project costs and/or delays, due to safety or permitting issues Developing projects that optimize production, reliability and uptime and minimize costs Managing projects effectively to deliver committed results, within cost and on schedule Utilizing systems for tracking project spending Developing accurate investment proposals and major maintenance proposals              Working with Operations, EH&S, Reliability and Maintenance among other departments to identify new potential projects and develop capital funding requests Working with purchasing to obtain bids and conduct value analysis, as well as cost estimates and budgets. Initiate purchase requisitions or contracts for design, equipment, labor and materials. Specify equipment and construction required to implement projects Managing projects that require coordination between engineering disciplines, outside consultants, contractors and mill departments and personnel Assisting with checkout and start-up activities, conducting post-completion audits of capital and repair projects Communicating with Operations, EH&S, Reliability and Maintenance to assure that projects are carried out appropriately and added value is maximized Developing well-defined project scopes/estimates, oversight of construction activities, and facilitation of project documentation Closing out projects properly, including documentation and permanent engineering file entries. Supporting and driving corporate, site, regulatory, design and construction electrical standards Leveraging your knowledge of electrical regulatory compliance with NEC, NFPA70E, OSHA and other regulations, as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) Ensuring projects include updates to the site electrical model as required in their scope. Ensure project processes and changes leverage appropriate Factory of the Future (FoF) instrumentation and control systems Supporting plant reliability and maintenance efforts, as needed Utilizing and updating as necessary all engineering standards and construction guidelines for projects to ensure compatibility with corporate and local requirements Participating as and electrical and instrumentation SME on other projects as requested What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: At least 5 years of managing electrical projects (experience must include: interacting with contractors, vendors, understanding of electrical principles and codes/compliance requirements) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (is this the only acceptable degree?) Electrical Code and regulatory compliance knowledge What Will Put You Ahead? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
